Response From The Wind,
A Grieving Ritual

I focused on exploring how design could effectively convey abstract emotions through an autoethnographic approach within my practice. The project was deeply rooted in my personal story with my grandfather. We shared numerous memories surrounded by trees and plants. Consequently, as a means of coping with grief following his passing, I found solace in talking to trees, imagining that he could hear me, and envisioning the wind carrying his responses back to me. Grief serves as a central theme that permeates the entire design project.
Throughout this endeavour, I delved into experimental rituals and type design to elicit and enhance the audience's experience and comprehension of the grieving process. My emphasis was on the conceptual journey, aiming to provide the audience with a means of expressing their own emotions related to grief.
